I hate being surrounded by people who adore me but don’t need me. They hug me and tell me they love me, but they walk away. They don’t crave my company.

I guess I don’t blame them.
I’ve found it so hard to be myself around them. I know the part of me that hugs them and smiles really big is real, but when comments and jokes come out of my mouth I’m not sure if they’re mine or a creation of my own insecurities.

This isn’t a sad blog; merely a contemplative one.
